Well at this point I think it's more than safe to say that the NFT community has claimed .IO as their new home. From some of the most prominent NFT marketplaces like OpenSea.io, to the main wallet everyone uses for NFTs - MetaMask.io - using the .IO extension is starting to identify your site as being part of the NFT movement.
So it's not surprising to see that sports legend Tom Brady decided to launch his new NFT brand on a .IO domain - Autograph.io. So what exactly is Brady doing in the NFT space - here's the scoop:
The seven-time Super Bowl champion is launching an NFT platform called Autograph this spring. It will bring together some of the biggest names in sports, entertainment, fashion and pop culture to work with creators to develop unique digital collectibles, a representative for Brady tells CNN Business.
Autograph will also produce NFT's featuring Brady.
Dillon Rosenblatt, co-founder and CEO of Autograph, told CNN in a statement: "Autograph will bring together some of the world's most iconic names and brands with best in class digital artists to ideate, create and launch NFTs and ground-breaking experiences to a community of fans and collectors." I personally think this site will be a huge hit, Tom Brady has a huge following and it's very likely he's going to bring in some very unique and exclusive NFTs available only through Autograph.io.
I signed up so I'll let you know once I get to take it for a spin, something tells me the first few NFTs that hit this site are going to be a little out of my price range but it never hurts to browse right? 🤷♂️
